Fire Department

Jansen Tholen B.V. has a close cooperation with Veiligheidsregio Zeeland. We developed aluminum doors which simulate a fire hazard. This light and eco friendly solution allows the fire department to train on own terrain.

Veiligheidsregio Zeeland has been busy in increasing the quality of the training. The door opening procedure was part of this. Jansen Tholen B.V. was approached to find out if they could find a more sustainable and effective solution for this problem. The current wooden doors and doorframes are not as suitable because they caused problems after several uses. The solution was an aluminum door with doorframe. It is lightweight, easy to move and can be hooked up to a smoke machine. The door will produce smoke through different slots. These sustainable, lightweight training doors developed by Jansen Tholen B.V. provided a perfect solution for Veiligheidsregio Zeeland.
